As you know after my wedding, Imma my XYL and I were visiting the U.S. West Coast and Hawaii.
In California I spent a whole day with my good friend Will, we had many QSO's for years and we did not know in vertical and finally promised that we could meet! And surely in April will be on here, visiting our country, thank you for all you did Guillermo!.
Your call is WC6DX, the only active DX station in the city of Monterey, the first Spanish city founded in California. We visited his QTH, your radio club, its history, the bay, Caramel, we tested its food, etc ... Finally a wonderful day sightseeing.
From 20 to 25 November I was in Hawaii on the island of Oahu, and so there was already several OM, but ultimately could only be first with Bill and his lovely XYL KH6/N0CO Mary, visiting his QTH and near our hotel in Waikiki Beach, next to him had to go with other friends including K1ER and visit and operate from the U.S. Battleship Missouri, a special radio club, visit this web http://kh6bb.org and know because I say, hee hee, but could not be removed days since my visit to the island and had to see my great friend were WH6R because KH6 was my godfather, my first QSO over 10 years and should know, and we agree that we would come to fetch and tourism with, good times with his XYL Ligia, and one of our visits I could visit and operate from one of the biggest competitions quarter of the world I think I will! The super station ALEX KH6YY best known for his contest call KH7X, 9 super stations all equipped with directive antennas monoband, huge, monstrous, it was a dream for me to see it, something unimaginable, and of course what makes him more pleasure one is calling CQ just 2 times and piled up to Mogollon, something really amazing, its 3 elements for 80 meters monoband remember not to dizzying heights or 2 x 2 monoband of elem. For 40 meters or 4 x 4 Monoband of 10 meters, and not follow ..... ufff
So in summary, my little dream was someday to visit Hawaii and transmit power as KH6/EA3GHZ, dream come true ... to dream again!
I could be more active, you know honeymoon, and over the spread was very bad, very softly ye entered the Europeans and the majority of QSO's were with Japan, USA, Canada, etc ... Very few Europeans! But I promise I'll be back ............
